In Himachal Pradesh, a German Shepherd named Alpha displayed remarkable loyalty by guarding his owner, Abhinandan Gupta, and his friend, Parnita Bal Sahib, for 48 hours. On February 4th, Gupta and Sahib, from Pune, had to abandon their car due to heavy snow and walked with Alpha toward their base camp. Tragically, they fell into a deep hole and died from the severe cold and injuries.
When rescuers arrived, they found Alpha still protecting the bodies from wild animals. Despite being badly injured himself, Alpha remained by their side, crying in grief. His story deeply touched many people and highlighted the profound bond between pets and their owners.
