Monsoon Rainfall Prediction: Active monsoon conditions are likely in most of the northwestern regions in the country over the next 4-5 days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) – the national weather forecaster – posted on microblogging site X (formerly Twitter).
The weather agency also predicted an “increase in rainfall activity with isolated heavy falls” over the eastern parts of the country from Tuesday, July 30.
