Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 7 Voting Date and Timings: Voting under the seventh and final phase of a six-week-long polling exercise in the world’s largest democracy is scheduled to be held on June 1, 2024, when electors will cast their ballots for 57 Lok Sabha constituencies spread across Bihar, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Also on June 1, voting for the remaining 42 seats of the Odisha state assembly will take place simultaneously. All in all, June 1 will mark the end of the mega, seven-phase voting process kicked off by the Election Commission of India (ECI) on April 19. The seventh phase of polling under the 2024 general elections comes after the first six phases covered as many as 486 Lok Sabha seats in 28 states and Union Terrotires. Countring of votes of all the seven phases will take place on June 4.
Out of the 57 Lok Sabha seats, while 41 are reserved for the general category, 16 are kept for SC and ST categories, and out of the 42 Assembly seats, 27 are reserved for the general category and the remaining 15 for the SC and ST categories.
