There is no way of knowing what lies in the card that will come up ahead, but that is the point of the Fool’s Journey.
But whether or not the nature of The Empress remains universal is the question that The Fool must find an answer to, because unlike us, The Fool does not have the liberty of hindsight and observation. Like many people on their own path, The Fool cannot understand his story from the outside. He is living it. And for him, the equation isn’t all that complex. It is a leap of faith.
