Donald Trump appears to have somewhat mixed feelings about Tim Walz \u2014 the newly selected running mate of Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris. The Republican leader has dubbed it a \u2018shocking\u2019 pick that was \u201cvery insulting to anyone who wants security\u201d. He also opined that Walz was a \u201csmarter version\u201d of Harris who wanted to help America \u201cgo communist immediately\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
“There\u2019s never been a ticket like this. This is a ticket that wants this country to go communist immediately if not sooner. \u2018We want no security, we want no anything.\u2019 He\u2019s very into transgender, anything transgender he thinks is great. And [Walz] is not where the country is on anything,\u201d he insisted on Fox and Friends.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The former POTUS told the show hosts that Walz was a \u201csmarter version of her\u201d and perhaps \u201cgreater than Bernie Sanders\u201d. He had earlier taken to social media to thank Harris for her choice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
