We had previously reported that Jayam Ravi is teaming up with filmmaker M Rajesh of\u00a0Siva Manasula Sakthi<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0Oru Kal Oru Kannadi\u00a0<\/i>fame for a film titled\u00a0Brother<\/i>.\u00a0The makers of the film have now announced the release date. <\/p>\n

Brother <\/i>is slated to hit theatres on Diwali and is expected to clash with Sivakarthikeyan\u2019s\u00a0Amaran <\/i>which is also scheduled to be released on October 31. Jayam Ravi took to social media to share the news along with a poster. <\/p>\n

Starring\u00a0Priyanka Mohan as the female lead, the rest of the cast of\u00a0Brother<\/i>\u00a0includes\u00a0Natty, Bhumika, Saranya Ponvannan, VTV Ganesh, Seetha, Achyuth Kumar and Rao Ramesh.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Harris Jayaraj, who had previously collaborated with Rajesh for\u00a0Oru Kal Oru Kannadi<\/i>\u00a0and with Ravi in films like\u00a0Dhaam Dhoom, Engeyum Kadhal\u00a0<\/i>and\u00a0Vanamagan<\/i>, is composing music for\u00a0Brother<\/i>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Said to be a family drama, the film has been shot in places like Chennai, Hyderabad, Ooty and Kodaikanal. Produced by\u00a0Screen Scene Media Entertainment Private Ltd, the film\u2019s cinematography is by\u00a0Vivekanand Santhosh and editing is by Abisish Joseph. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi has Genie <\/i>with Arjunan Jr, an erstwhile assistant of Mysskin, co-starring Krithi Shetty, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Wamiqa Gabbi as the female leads and Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi\u2019s Kadhalikka Neramillai<\/i>, with Nithya Menen, in the line-up.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
